1. Who you are contracting with
Holland Football University, S.L. (Coach Jair), working out of Alicante, Spain.
These services are provided by Holland Football University, S.L., trading as Coach Jair, operating from Alicante, Spain.
Registered details: Holland Football University, S.L. · NIF B10811818 · Calle Benlliure 2, 03530 La Nucía.
Write to us at jair@coachjair.com about anything in these terms.
2. What we provide
Training software and programmes, delivered online.
Training programmes, nutrition targets and performance monitoring for individual athletes and teams, delivered through software. Depending on what you buy, that is a programme in the Training Hub, a membership in the app, or a package for a club.
Where the app lets you send messages, for example between a club’s staff and its players, they are not an emergency or medical service.
We may improve, restructure or replace parts of the service. If we withdraw something you have paid for and cannot offer an equivalent, we will refund the unused portion.
3. This is not medical advice
Jair is a coach, not a doctor.
Jair is a strength and conditioning coach, not a doctor, physiotherapist or registered dietitian. Nothing in the programmes, the app, the Fuel Check calculator, or any message is medical, physiotherapeutic or clinical dietary advice, and none of it diagnoses or treats any condition.
The Fuel Check produces an estimate from a standard formula. It is a starting point to be adjusted against how you actually respond, not a prescription.
Speak to a doctor before starting any new training or nutrition programme. That matters most if you are:
- pregnant
- under 18
- recovering from an injury or an illness
- managing a medical condition
- managing an eating disorder, or living with a history of disordered eating
If something hurts, stop. If you think you are having a medical emergency, call your local emergency number.
4. Assumption of risk
Training can injure you. Tell us what we need to know.
Physical training carries an inherent risk of injury. You take part voluntarily and accept that risk.
You are responsible for:
- telling us about relevant medical history, injuries and limitations before you start, and keeping us updated if they change
- training within your own limits
- using equipment safely
- following any medical guidance you have been given
Programmes are written from the information you give us. If that information is incomplete or wrong, the programme may not be appropriate for you.
5. Your account
One account, one person, sixteen or over.
You must give accurate details and keep your password secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
An account is for one person. Training Hub links and app accounts are personal to you and must not be shared, resold, or used by anyone else. Training Hub links work on up to three of your own devices; sharing one will get the access blocked.
You must be at least 16 to hold an account yourself. If you are under 16, a parent or guardian holds the account and is the person we deal with. The privacy policy explains how that works and what we do with a young athlete’s data.
Tell us at jair@coachjair.com straight away if you think somebody else has got into your account.
6. Prices, payment and renewal
What you pay, when it renews, and how to stop it.
Prices are shown at the point of purchase and include VAT where it applies. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see your full card details.
How each kind of purchase behaves:
- A one-off programme is paid once and stays yours. Nothing renews.
- A subscription renews automatically at the interval shown when you bought, until you cancel.
- An installment plan runs for the fixed number of payments stated at purchase and then stops.
To cancel a subscription, open Account in the app and choose Manage subscription. That opens Stripe’s billing page, where you can cancel, see your invoices and change your card. If you cannot get in, email jair@coachjair.com and we will cancel it for you.
You can cancel at any time. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for: it stops future payments, and it does not refund the current period.
If a payment fails and is not resolved, access may be suspended until it is.
7. Your right to cancel, and refunds
Fourteen days to change your mind, unless you asked for it straight away.
As a consumer in the EU you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase made online, without giving a reason.
Digital content is an exception. When a Training Hub link or an app programme is unlocked for you at once, you tick a box first, confirming that you want access straight away and that you understand you lose the right to withdraw once it is unlocked. Without that box ticked the purchase does not go through.
If you would rather keep your withdrawal right, email us at jair@coachjair.com before you buy and we will delay access until the 14 days have passed.
None of this limits your legal rights if what you received was faulty, not as described, or not what you paid for. If that happens, tell us and we will put it right.
8. What you may and may not do with the content
Yours to train with. Not yours to share or resell.
Programmes, training documents, exercise videos, and the Fuel Check remain our intellectual property. Buying access buys you a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own training.
You may not:
- copy, republish, resell, share or distribute them
- use them to coach other people commercially
- use them to train a machine learning model
Anything you write, meaning messages, logs and notes, remains yours. You grant us only the permission needed to store it and show it to your coach so the service can work.
9. Acceptable use
Do not break it, and do not abuse anyone through it.
Do not:
- use the service unlawfully
- attempt to break its security or reach other people’s data
- abuse, threaten or harass anyone through the messaging feature
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that shares access, or that is used abusively. Where the breach is serious we may do so without notice.
10. Ending your access
How to leave, and what happens if we close your account.
You can stop at any time. Cancel a subscription as described in section 6, or delete your account from the Account screen in the app. Deleting your account erases your training history, nutrition logs and messages, and cannot be undone.
If we close your account for a breach of these terms, you will not be refunded for the remaining period, unless the law says otherwise.
11. Our liability
What we are, and are not, responsible for.
We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Nothing in these terms removes your statutory rights as a consumer.
Beyond that, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
We are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, or for results not achieved: training outcomes depend on factors outside our control, including how consistently a programme is followed.
The service is provided as-is. We aim to keep it available but cannot guarantee it will never be interrupted.
12. Governing law
Spanish law, and the consumer protection of your own country.
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Disputes go to the courts of Spain.
If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your own country, and you may bring proceedings there.
If we cannot settle a complaint between us, the consumer authority or an alternative dispute resolution body in your own country can take it further. Write to us first at jair@coachjair.com and we will try to sort it directly.
13. Reviews and testimonials
How reviews are collected, and what we do with them.
Reviews are written inside the app by people who hold an account and have used the service, so every review we publish comes from a real customer. We do not buy reviews and we do not accept them from anyone who has not used the training.
Every new athlete on the monthly plan gets a free first month. That is not a reward for a review: everyone gets it, whether or not they ever write one, and a review never has to be positive.
We do not delete negative reviews to make the published set look better, and we do not ask only satisfied people to write one. A review is published only if the reviewer ticked the separate box giving permission, and that permission can be withdrawn at any time by writing to jair@coachjair.com.
Reviews are the reviewer's own opinion and are not a promise of any particular result.
14. Changes to these terms
We will tell you before anything important changes.
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If a change materially affects you, we will tell account holders by email before it takes effect, and continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept it.
Questions about any of this can go to jair@coachjair.com.
